AI Crawler Analysis
Introduced the AI Crawler Analysis module. SEO Audit My Website now detects GPTBot (OpenAI), ClaudeBot (Anthropic), and PerplexityBot user-agent rules in your robots.txt and evaluates your site's compatibility with AI-powered search engines. The module also checks for the presence and validity of an llms.txt file and scores your content structure for AI retrieval readiness.
GEO Optimization Module
Added the Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) scoring module. This analyzes how well your content is structured for inclusion in AI-generated overviews and answer boxes. The module evaluates question-answer patterns, fact density, citation formatting, and entity clarity to predict whether your content will be surfaced in AI-generated search results.
Performance Improvements
Resolved an issue where audits on large sites with more than 500 pages would time out before completing the full analysis. The analyzer now processes pages in parallel batches and implements progressive timeout handling, reducing average audit time by 40% for complex sites. Also fixed a memory leak in the schema parser that could cause the audit to stall on pages with deeply nested JSON-LD.
Schema Validation Updates
Improved JSON-LD parsing for nested and interconnected schemas. The validator now correctly handles schemas that use @id references across multiple script blocks on the same page. Fixed false-positive warnings for Product schemas using the Offer type with conditional pricing. Added support for validating the newer SpecialAnnouncement and MedicalWebPage schema types.
