Getting Started
Set up your account and run your first audit
Creating Your Account
Getting started with SEO Audit My Website takes less than two minutes. Visit seoauditmywebsite.com/signup and enter your full name, email address, and a password with at least six characters. After submitting the form, check your inbox for a verification email. Click the confirmation link in that email to activate your account. If you do not see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from noreply@seoauditmywebsite.com.
Once your email is verified, you will be redirected to the login page. Sign in with the email and password you chose during registration. You will land on your dashboard, where you can immediately start running audits. Your account begins with a free 7-day trial that gives you full access to all 13 audit modules, including the AI Crawler Analysis module that checks GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot compatibility.
If you signed up but never received the verification email, visit the login page and try signing in. The system will prompt you to resend the verification email if your account is unverified. You can also contact support at help@seoauditmywebsite.com for manual verification assistance.
Running Your First Audit
To run your first SEO audit, navigate to your dashboard and locate the URL input field at the top of the page. Enter the full URL of the page you want to audit, including the https:// prefix. For example, enter https://example.com rather than just example.com. Click the 'Analyze' button to start the audit. The analysis typically takes 15 to 45 seconds depending on the complexity and load speed of the target page.
Once the audit completes, you will see an overview page with your overall score (0 to 100) and individual scores for each of the 13 audit modules. The modules cover Technical SEO, Content Quality, Images, Schema Markup, AI Crawler Compatibility, Performance, Pages, Labels, and more. Each module displays a pass/fail indicator along with specific findings. Click on any module tab to see detailed results, including specific issues found and recommended fixes.
Your audit results are automatically saved to your History page, where you can revisit them at any time. To track changes over time, add the site to your My Sites list by clicking the 'Save Site' button on the results page. This allows you to re-run audits on the same domain and compare scores across multiple audit runs.
Understanding Your Score
Your SEO audit score is a number between 0 and 100 that represents the overall health of the audited page across all 13 analysis modules. A score of 90 or above is considered excellent, meaning the page follows most SEO best practices and is well-optimized for both traditional search engines and AI crawlers. A score between 70 and 89 is good but has room for improvement. Scores between 50 and 69 indicate significant issues that may be hurting your search visibility. Anything below 50 signals critical problems that need immediate attention.
The overall score is a weighted average of individual module scores. Modules that have a larger impact on search performance, such as Technical SEO, Content Quality, and Schema Markup, carry more weight than cosmetic modules. Each module uses a traffic-light system: green (pass) means no issues were found, yellow (warning) means minor issues that should be addressed, and red (fail) means critical issues that are likely hurting your rankings or AI visibility.
Your score is a snapshot of the page at the time of the audit. SEO is not a one-time activity, so we recommend re-running audits after making changes to verify improvements. Comparing scores from multiple audit runs on the History page helps you track progress and confirm that fixes had the intended effect. Focus on fixing red (fail) items first, as these represent the highest-impact improvements you can make.
Adding Sites to My Sites
The My Sites feature lets you save domains you audit regularly so you can quickly re-run audits and track performance over time. To add a site, run an audit on any page of the domain, then click the 'Save Site' button on the results page. Alternatively, go to the My Sites page from your dashboard sidebar and click 'Add Site.' Enter the domain name (for example, example.com) and click save.
Once a site is saved, it appears in your My Sites list with the most recent audit score displayed. Click on any saved site to see its full audit history, including score trends over time. You can run a new audit directly from the My Sites page by clicking the 'Re-audit' button next to any saved domain. The system will automatically compare the new results to the previous audit and highlight what improved and what regressed.
You can save up to 5 sites on the free trial and up to 50 sites on the Pro plan. To remove a site from your list, click the three-dot menu next to the domain and select 'Remove.' Removing a site from My Sites does not delete your audit history. Past audit results remain accessible from the History page.
